Your Own Work

Please take the time to read our information on how to add your work, what will be included on this site and how you can help keep this site alive, Below.

• If you have some work that you would like to share with others, please feel free to contact us at webmaster@fmscommunity.org. Send us an example of your work and any pertinent web sites that you may have showcasing your work. The websites you submit, to be listed with your work, may for the purpose of the Loft page only, be commercial in nature. In other words, if you have art for sale, we will include your URL.

• How Long Before My Work Is Listed? This site is run by volunteers who also have FM and other conditions, so please allow some time for a response  To expedite your addition, please make sure you include the following in your original email to us.

• Your name, (the way you want it listed on the page)

• Your contact information (email, any phone numbers and postal addresses you want listed)

• Your Web Page Address. (Including a name you want it listed as)

• Your Work. (Attach a photo of your painting, sculpture, photographs, craft etc. or send us a copy of your poem or printed article)
  *In the interest of space, we will not be able to print short stories, please send us an excerpt and a url or printed reference where people can read the entire piece.
  *We will not accept banner ads for your site. A simple link will be used to direct visitors to your page.
  *If for any reason we find that a site was submitted under false pretences,  the site will be removed immediately.

• Copyright. This page is secured with a script that does not allow the right click option for visitors. They are instructed to contact the artist for information on how to obtain copies of the work, so please make sure you supply us with a valid email address to put with your work so visitors to the site may contact you.

• Cost. There is no charge for having your work showcased here. The purpose of this page is to share with each other the knowledge that, while we may be fighting a daily battle for our health, we are still intelligent, worthwhile and talented people with a lot to give the world.

• How Can You Help Us? This site relies on the generosity of others to stay alive. While we charge no fee to showcase your work, any and all donations, in any form are welcome. You can visit our fund raising page for more details.

Any and all transactions made between buyer and seller, due to exposure on this site, are the responsibility of the person who submitted their listing and the buyer who chose to do business with the seller.
No work that is truly profane in nature will be accepted. By profane we mean any work that is pornographic in nature, exploits children, uses a large amount of profanity, promotes hatred, intolerance  towards any religious or sexual orientation. The owner and webmasters of The Fibromyalgia Community reserve the right to judge and/or reject any entries based on the above mentioned rules.
